Inspired Artist: Paola Delfin was born in Mexico City. Since the time she could write she always had a pencil and paper in her hand drawing whatever came to her mind. Her artwork is influenced by illustrations and a mixture of unusual materials. Paola tries hard to relate her artwork to beauty and feminine sensibility. She started doing street art after realizing her artwork was trapped and her message wasn't getting out on a small template. She attempts to portray the creative aesthetic of her generation but also reflecting a new message. “I believe that art needs to be seen everywhere possible, to bring a white wall to life, and make a story out of it. My passion is to create, be available to tell a story with my hands and make it visible to everyone though images that involve you [the viewer] in that story. That feeling is what makes me love being an artist.”. From this quote you can tell she is inspired and determined to make her art visible to everyone and tell a story through her artwork. What makes me inspired by her artwork is that you can tell she loves doing it, she has a passion towards her artwork. The reason why i like her artwork alot is because it is big and everyone can definitely see it and she can get her message through. It inspires me not to give up on my artwork and erase it cause you don't like it and just keep going cause she really can't erase her artwork and start over once its on the building its on there.

This warm up helped me the most because it taught me how to blend colors together and it helped me with my painting. Some ways to make brown are to mix red and green, blue or orange or yellow and purple. To tone down a color you put white in the color or a lighter color.
My painting is a beach with 3 different sized plants. The ocean flows into the sky. In the plants I tried to make the stems different colors to give it texture and more realistic. Where the plants are I added a different color sand color. I made the plants different proportion. What inspired me to paint this was, I love the beach and the way the sky and the ocean blend into each other when you look at it. So I wanted to paint the ocean and the sky blending into each other. What i found successful was making the sand color. I learned from this that mixing colors to get the exact color you want is not easy.
